Jackobellis is still one of the best ever and an American icon. A lot of people don’t deserve a gold medal and win because someone elses mistake. If you consider her style and riding ability over her career she deserves a Platinum medal let alone gold. But unfortunately it all comes down to one bad run. She is better than all she competed against, to their good fortune she had some bad days.
