In this snowboard review video we are checking out the Jones Mountain Twin on Whistler Blackcomb mountain. The conditions were foggy and a bit icy which provided a lot of variable terrain to really feel out the capabilities of this snowboard. I found the Mountain Twin to be a pretty stiff and aggressive snowboard with lots of stability, and surprisingly, lots of pop as well. I also really like the fact that Jones put Magne Traction on this snowboard, giving it much more freeride versatility and allowing it to be able to handle the icy conditions we had today with ease. Let us know any questions you have in the comments below, thanks for watching!

Check out RP Roberts, the British artist who does all the work for Jones top sheets.. seriously talented dude and worth a name check! Thanks TJ, love the videos from all you guys 🙂

Christopher Matthews says:

Was this shot Friday? I was riding around Blackcomb and that’s what the conditions looked like.

Joshua Schaffer says:

That is a nice looking top sheet. I was doing stuff like this today actually. First day on the mountain. No park yet. Barely any trails open really. Our mountains here in Pennsylvania aren’t very big. So good to get out on the snow though.

Jake Enders says:

TJ HAS HIS OWN CHANNEL?!? YESSSS

Le piaf says:

Hi guys!
I’ve been riding the jones MT and I can only approve all he said!
The board floats really well in powder (better than some freeride boards!) and is both flexible enough for tricks and hard enough for cliffs!
The true definition of all mountain freestyle! If that is your program don’t hesitate anymore go buy one!!!

SidiNic says:

Keep the content coming Kevin! 40 days till i can go, fucking hyped!

Corey Truhn says:

Do a review for now bindings with skatetech.

froggo says:

Why the same clips as in the latest video?

Hej Svejs says:

TJ’s helmet is so ugly tho

ButterSnow says:

Excellent.. This board looks really buttery for how stiff it is!

Kurt Mallery says:

This is exactly the style of riding which inspires me. So fluid and free! TJ thanks for keeping me motivated!

Luca Mohr says:

Nice Vid!
How is your gopro pole called? ☺

Aizermaster says:

Bought the board 2 days ago, tested it out today. Loads of fresh snow with packed snow underneath. Holds the edges like my old traditional camber but gives so much room to be playful and whirling down the slope in one continuous butter. Im pretty new to snowboarding and it gave me a boost from slipping down sideways on my old board to riding down in carves in f**** 3 hours of riding! I highly recommend it. Hit the trees my last two runs this morning, couldnt ask for more here too!!! Wearing size 11 makes it quite difficult to find a board, 155w did the trick! Thumbs up TJ!

Roan van Gorp says:

This is EXACTLY the vid that I was waiting for!!!!!!!!!!!
I recently bought this board and I can’t wait to test it out!

Thank you so much for this vid!
Keep up the good work guys!

bnumber8 says:

Nice timing! I just took mine out for the first time this weekend in VT. Still getting used to it but had an amazing time upgrading from a 10+ year old board.

AiR HawKz says:

Hey guys great vids! Me and a few friends were planning on visiting Whistler in 2019. Could you do a guide on the Resort, kinda like the best runs to try, places to eat at etc… 😀

Fellograce says:

hi

Piotr Jurkiewicz says:

LOL.
THIS CAMERA IS TALKING TO ME.. o_0′

SaranFilip says:

Could you find some great budget boards for us? Would really appreciate

Athos Triglianos says:

MAKE A VIDEO OF TRYING A PARK BOAR IN THE POWDER AND A BACKCOUNTRY ONE IN THE SNOW THAT WOULD BE FUN!

Justin Willey says:

I saw this board on the mountain yesterday and it looks so sick

Gustav Warming says:

Hey guys, awesome video once again!
I have a video suggestion:
Could you guys do a video talking about different types of boards?
Like which specs you are looking for in a park board vs freeride board or something like that?
You could also maybe throw all mountain boards in there.
I’ve been riding for a couple of years by now, and i’ve always ridden all mountain boards like the Lib Tech Skate Banana. But im looking to get a lot more into park and i have 0 idea of what specs to look at, haha 😀
Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Love from Denmark

Victor Jay says:

When selecting board size do you recommend going with the suggested weight rating? I could go with either 151 or 154. Is there a big difference in performance?

Kaden Wall says:

can you do a www k2 2018 review

Luckygames says:

Ive got the Jones ultra mountain twin

J Walker says:

Could you review the Capita Outerspace Living?

Luca Drury says:

keep up the amazing work!!!!!

vincent allenson says:

I have an idea for protection , full body, for extreme boarding. I was wondering if anyone wants to endear this to a fruitful end. Allowing for much more extremes and have very minimal risk for lethal injury, serious body injury albeit still someprobabilty for broken extremity bones and such but goal is to minimize even that. If you post here, I will share contact info and if you we. Decide it’s worth while, its all about investors… Thank you..

5777 says:

Does anybody knows a similar snowboard that’s just a little bit older like 3-4 years.

(Because I want a snowboard like that but 500 is to expensive)

SpiDer TrOniX says:

Could you please make a review on the nitro smp 2017/18

Pow Ranger says:

how you you compare the t.rice pro to the jones flagship. I like to ride of piste, and want to carve as well. I want a really strong edge to grip groomers and go fast. and not have to lean back so much in pow to relieve so stress on the back foot.

Vougish Cougar1 says:

Is this ur full time job?

Live NW says:

Great guys!

Torstein Nordgulen says:

How does this hold up in the park?

Mike E says:

Could you possibly review the GNU Riders Choice?
Thanks for the Jones Mountain Twin Review. Looks like such an awesome board!

Matthew S says:

Can you please do a review on the Jones Explorer?! Thanks for the great content and videos!

Perpetual Student says:

There is hardly any good on mtn reviews anymore. I miss the all black shredder. You guys could carve out a nice little niche.

Snow Age GT says:
