The Defenders of Awesome from Capita Snowboards is an all mountain freestyle board for those riders that want a one deck quiver for any conditions, but with a focus on freestyle. Camber with carbon reinforcements give this deck a butt-ton of pop and power for when you want to charge and play super hard. Kevlar Fortress inserts along the sidewalls will repel more abuse from rails and jibs to help your board last longer and the slight rocker tip and tail mean the board isn’t twitchy at speed giving you full confidence when tanking at the big backcountry booter you just built. Because you know, you’re defending awesome here.

I’m 5’11 155 pounds and size 9.5 boot. what size board do I need?

Hi, there, thank you for the interesting review. Can you advise on following:
Currently my snowboard ammunition is:
Board: Ride 2012 Machete GT – 158Cm
Binding: Ride Rodeo flex 4 out 10 (not very stiff).
Boots: Ride 2012 High PHY Coiler

I’d like to switch to Capita DOA board and renew my gear. What is the optimal size of board for me as I am 1.73 cm, and weigh 82 Kg. Which binding suits this board ideally, (Flex 1-10, stiffer or softer). As I understand from different reviews this board initially is all mountaineer but leans more to freestyle. I mostly cruise on piste and would like slowly switch to off piste riding experience. Is DOA good for that?

I’d be grateful if you find time to answer my message,
