The Capita Mercury is a snowboard that is ready to rip anywhere, anytime, and Jackson Hole provided some excellent conditions to test this one out. We found technical big mountain lines in Corbet’s Couloir, smooth powder, rock drops, and tree lines while exploring throughout the day. The Mercury features a directional twin shape, slight setback, camrock camber profile, and medium stiff flex; this offers solid performance in a wide variety of conditions with minimal compromise. The versatility of this snowboard stood out to me, as well as its very fast base, and significant amounts of stability. While this isn’t a powder specific snowboard it will be manageable in powder if you set the stance back, and will also work well in the terrain park although I would say it leans towards the jump side of the spectrum when it comes to freestyle riding. Overall I was very impressed with the performance of the Mercury and would recommend it to more advanced riders interested in this style of snowboard. Let us know what you think of the Capita Mercury snowboard in the comments, thanks for watching.

how would you compare the mercury to the magic carpet it terms of riding in powder/variable terrain, and landing drops?
sick pillowdrop to flat
I’ve been waiting to hear your review on this for awhile. Seriously thinking of making Capita one of my next boards
I love riding the Mercury around Jackson Hole. Handles everything you throw at it!!
pumped for warpspeed review!
Hey TJ! Great vid! Isn’t the sidecut of this board directional?
Sad you didnt catch that drop but the board looks awesome might have to demo it this year
Nice review How mercury compara to the DOA I really need to know Thanks alot
Great review TJ now it’s time to hop on the Bataleon party wave and review it
What kind of beanie do you wear under your helmet?
Super sick video guys. So much powder!
Capita needs to expand their board sizes. I’ve wanted this board for a few seasons but I’m just over the size limit…. lame
I WANT A SNOWBOARD SO BAD
Nice review. What’s your favourite board you’ve tested this season and why?
Hey kevin what’s the best board for a beginner
Can someone get away with just setting their stance back on the board to get that longer nose or is there more to it than that?
damn 2 hours getting up D:
With all the powder around everywhere a sick review wound be libtech way finder vs orca. Orca is unobtainable with inventory but wayfinder looks so dope and still available
Hey TJ, can you make a review video of Nitro Beast 2019?
You guys planning to swing by Tahoe? There’s sooo much snow right now
I’m watching this at a skiing resort in Andorra and it hasn’t snowed all weak
Hey TJ
I just got a never summer Westbound snowboard and I was curious if you had checked it out?
It was a mid season release and so far I’m loving it.
Check it out and maybe it would be a good board to review?
Been waiting for this review. Thanks TJ. Mercury is definitely on the short list. Would love it if you could review the Rossi One LF & Jones Mtn Twin. Great content as always.
There probably wasn’t much hard pack out there but were you able to put the death grip sidecut to the test at all? If so, how does it compare to magne traction? Thanks so much for the review! Been waiting for this one for a while.
I’ve been riding a 2018 i got cheap on a demo sale end of last year – love this board! I leave it at home now on knee-deep-or-better powder days in favor of something more spooned out and volume shifted, but otherwise its great everywhere. I usually ride 152ish boards, but got this in a 157 cause i wanted a charger, but i think you can downsize on it and wish i had that option. It def feels more of a mid flex, but she’s got some miles on her. Butters surprisingly well and rides like a twin!
