Never Summer Funslinger – 2019 Snowboard Review

Checkout our review of the 2019 Never Summer Funslinger. We took one out on test in the Alps and had a blast. The soft flex and hybrid Ripsaw Rocker Camber make for an ideal freestyle board.
The Ripsaw Rocker Camber is meant to offer more pop while maintaining the benefits of a rockered board for park laps. Also the snowboard features an asymmetric side cut, vario power grip shaping, and dampening tech to give the smoothest ride possible.
Our resident snowboard expert Rob is here to talk you through the boards tech, design, and how it rides.

Thnx for the great review. I’m looking for a follow up for my 2012 NS evo, wich I loved for its playfulness and the great grip at higher speeds or carves.

Now I wonder if this should be my next board as a follow up. I think the funslinger would be good for it’s buttery playfulness, but will it be as stable on higher speed runs and carves? Or should I aim for the Proto?

I’m 179cm, 75kg and bootsize US 11, what size do you recommend? Thank You.

Is it good for those who are starting to do carves. And by carves i mean ryan knapton type carves?

I got the 156 from you guys last year, haven’t been out to a resort on it yet. would it be a good resort board? Hitting random side hits on my way down the mountain?

Hey, thanks for the review!
I’m 178cm, 75kg and bootsize 43. I’m looking at this as a quiver board for the park. Currently have a Rome Agent Rocker in 157 for all mountain.
Do you think I could get away with the 153?
Thanks again!
