In this snowboard review video we are testing out the 2017 Slash Happy Place at Keystone Resort, Colorado. The Happy Place is a versatile freestyle snowboard that provides the playfulness you want for jibbing and the stability you need on jumps, without feeling overpowering or too aggressive. It also includes Slash’s Ultimate Traction Bump technology which adds an additional contact point in the center of the sidecut, this noticeably increases edge hold on hard or icy snow and sets the Happy Place apart from the majority of other freestyle snowboards. The highlight for me on this board is how well it is able to press and flex without compromising stability, I would recommend this snowboard to beginner riders and up. If you have any questions about the Slash Happy Place snowboard or any requests leave them in the comments below or reach out to us on social media, and make sure to visit http://boardarchive.com for the full review and price comparison of the Slash Happy Place!

Pretty sweet board. For a fairly new rider that wants a decent board, what would you suggest? I’ve only had cheap 2nd hand boards so far. Right now I’m only riding mountain and learning but would like to soon progress to park. Thanks.

hey tj is there any chance of getting a review on the burton process flying v ?? cheers bro
Tested this board (154) last weekend and I couldn’t get it to turn at all, as if it wanted to stay flat all the time. As soon as I put it on it’s edge it felt like it was dragging me down to go flat again and I have no clue why. Exactly the same thing happened with the Capita Ultrafear 155. Boards that did work for me included the Arbor Coda Rocker, Formula, Westmark Rocker, Flow Chill, Lib skate banana, TRS, T. Rice pro, GNU Space Case and the Jones Mountain twin, all varying in sizes. What could the reason be that those two boards didn’t work for me whatsoever?
