Thanks for the independent review got some Frank April’s coming in October now.

Great review, I’ve been riding the cypress this past season. Such a good binding.

Kevin, thanks for the review, man! Great information on a muddy subject. I got swayed away from the Arbor bindings when I was looking, since they had just come out, so I appreciate this as a follow-up and good information for next time!

I switched between Contract Pros and 390 Bosses all last winter on my park boards. I like the board flex from the C-Pro, and the response/support of the 390. The weight difference is also noticeable. Would you say the Hemlock has similar response to a 390, but allows for better board flex?

I ride last year’s Arbor Cypress in Ride Insanos on a Dupraz D1. (From Heliskiing and Powder in the morning to carving on groomers in the afternoon…this set-up does it all.)
Arbor did a great job with these bindings!
I’ll probably try to upgrade the straps but it’s not necessary tbh.
Thx for the review!

btw: I was waiting for a an “angry “review of a Dupraz D1…it never came, but I still bought one and I’m very glad I did so. You should try it too 😉

Kenji Yamamoto says:

Kind of a weird question, but I thought of it because of Avran’s k2 bindings being patchwork. Do companies sell just portions of their bindings like the ankle straps for replacement? Or even if they would the Arbor ankle straps fit on a pair Burton Genesis ankle straps?
