The three-dimensional design of Bataleon’s Camel Toe is what separated it from the rest of the pack. Its massive hull-like nose was nearly unsinkable, but the beauty of the ride was its buttery edge-to-edge roll. The slightly upturned Triple Base Tech shape of the nose and tail made turn initiation seamless and super playful. This hydrodynamic approach to shaping gives the board less drag, which means quicker acceleration and easy butters.
The cambered profile retained pop, control, and power throughout while the stiffened tail helped support hauling ass, ollies, and directional riding. The subtle swallowtail easily sank to keep the nose up and pivot quick turns, too. The build is simple, consisting of a dual-density wood core with beefed-up flex from tip to tail with stiffer woods. We found the flex comfortable and consistent with a lightweight biaxial fiberglass layup. For riders looking to get all up in it on a true powder machine that floats and rails turns like no other, check out the Camel Toe.
